handmade
“handmade” is a sound installation, which puts different hand noises for composition at the visitors disposal. On a video canvas twenty films with different hand movements are to be seen. In front is a small table with a monitor and a mouse.The interface, which is shown on the monitor, offers the visitor the possibility to change the playing speed of each individual projected film and herein manipulate the individual films. The noises are distorted in such a way that they hardly remind of the original material.The visitor can arrange a composition from the whole of the films, store them and so conserve them for other people.
